Editorial Policy

Tetra Calculator publishes calculators for quick checks in math, projects, scheduling, classwork, and games. Each page shows the inputs, formula or method, examples, and limits so the result is easier to check.

This policy explains how calculator pages are written, reviewed, corrected, and updated.

Most of our calculators are based on known formulas and equations from textbooks and other trusted sources. Before we publish a calculator, we check the formula, the code, and the examples we show. Someone else who knows the topic reviews our work. Then a content reviewer checks the writing to make sure it is clear and easy to understand.

If a formula is not agreed upon or has more than one way of doing it, we show the results of the most popular methods instead of choosing one for you. Tools like the Love Calculator are for fun and are based on our own formulas.

We review our calculators when the method changes, when we add features, or when someone reports a problem. If we find a mistake, we fix the formula, the code, the examples, and the text before we publish the update. Our material estimators and game tools are estimates; check official specs, product labels, or a qualified professional when accuracy matters.

Every calculator and article goes through stages before it reaches you:

1. We design and build the calculator to meet the user's needs and write tests to make sure it works correctly.
2. We write the article that goes with the calculator, which explains the formula, assumptions, examples, limitations, and sources.
3. Someone else reviews the calculator and article to make sure they are accurate and suggests improvements.
4. A content reviewer checks the text for grammar, formatting, and clarity before it is published.

We choose calculators based on what people search for and what is useful to them. We focus on tools that people use regularly rather than one-time things.

If someone reports a mistake in a calculator, we review the formula, code, examples, and text together and publish a correction once it is fixed. If the correction changes a result you were using, we will make that clear on the page.
